SENIOR TRACK INSPECTOR_WMATA

SUMMARY: Keville Enterprises, Inc., an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm, is seeking a qualified Sr. Track Inspector to provide services as a consultant to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Work will be performed in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and will include both day and night shifts. A conscientious individual with a positive work attitude is a must!

 JOB DUTIES: Senior Track Inspector job duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Perform daily track inspections, complete track inspection reports, and report conditions to the WMATA RWIC/Escort for immediate action.

 

  • Mentor WMATA Track Inspectors as requested by the TRST General Superintendent/TRST Management Team.

 

  • Comply with WMATA Roadway Worker Protection and safety/operating rules in the discharge and performance of field duties

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The Senior Track Inspector (Inspector IV): Must have a minimum of 10 years supervisory experience working for a rail transit agency, or railroad qualified on FRA Class 4 railroad, or have the aforementioned with extensive track inspection experience.

 

  • Must have experience with railroad track construction and maintenance.
  • Must be able to plan and execute track inspection assignments for 10 to 30 track inspectors.
  • Must know and understand track safety standards and apply the knowledge in the field.
  • Must be able to document items of noncompliance.
  • Must have appropriate oral and written communication skills.
