KEVILLE ENTERPRISES, INC., a Construction Management firm specializing in providing a full spectrum of Construction Management and premier Project Controls services is seeking a seasoned full time Senior Planner and Schedule Analyst to develop and monitor construction schedules for projects ranging from $100 million to over billion dollars in the Boston area. This is a great opportunity to advance and grow within the organization with an experienced Controls group made up of 24 full time schedulers and 11 estimators.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The senior planner/scheduler will be preparing schedules during design phase for various projects to assist the designers' development of contract phasing and duration. Provide guidance and direction for the resolution of difficult and complex scheduling problems.

 

Also reviewing and analyzing contractor baseline and monthly update schedules, making recommendations to mitigate delays and completing project status reports on highway, bridge and facility construction projects.

Assist with evaluating change orders and delays related to time impacts. Lead schedule-related meetings with construction contractors and field staff to discuss/negotiate schedule issues.

Prepare Cash Flow Forecasting, Integrated Master Schedule Development, Critical Path Management and Reporting, Resource & Cost Loaded Schedules and Progress Curve Development, Look Ahead Schedules, and Development of Monthly Status Reports.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.  PE, PSP or CCM certifications desired.
  • 15+ years of construction experience on transportation, transit and building construction.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in construction scheduling, program scheduling, and cost & resource loading required. A minimum of 10 years of scheduling experience with Primavera P6 is a must.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and ability to manage multiple tasks.
