Keville Enterprises, Inc., a growing Construction Management and Inspection firm, is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a full-time, Airfield Construction Manager (CM) on public agency projects in the Boston, Massachusetts area.  A conscientious individual with a positive attitude is a must!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Construction Manager will be serving as an Agency CM / Owner's Representative, representing public agencies on their capital construction projects.  The CM will be responsible for: overseeing the construction contractor, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with construction contract plans and specifications; inspecting the work; ensuring that the contractor is in compliance with its own Quality Control Plan and Safety Plan; coordinating the needs and requirements of the owner, owner tenants, and abutters with the work of the contractor; reviewing the contractor's baseline schedule and schedule updates; reviewing contractor requests for payment and making payment recommendations to the owner; reviewing and processing contractor submittals; attending and chairing weekly status meetings and other meetings as required; developing cost, schedule, budget, inspection, submittal status, change order status, and other reports; analyzing, estimating, and negotiating change orders; resolving construction problems encountered; and other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing or inspecting construction projects.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing or inspecting airfield construction projects.
  • Experience managing or inspecting airfield construction projects at Logan International Airport.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills, excellent writing ability, and very strong computer skills.
  • PE License and/or CCM Certification are strongly preferred.
  • Experience using BIM models, computerized tablets, and paperless office systems are strongly preferred.
